Fitness On Demand, the leading digital fitness and engagement platform, has strengthened its leadership team by appointing Nick Gustafson as Marketing Director as it prepares for another year of significant growth. In his role, Gustafson will be responsible for strengthening Fitness On Demand’s position as a major innovator and leader in the digital fitness space while bringing awareness to its dynamic product expansion and vision.
In the past year, Fitness On Demand has expanded its products and offerings, creating an even more comprehensive platform for gyms, apartments, hotels and corporate offices. From a single platform, facilities can provide on-demand fitness, a customizable mobile app, digital signage and heart rate display, and even replace their cable tv subscriptions.
The platform offers on-demand workouts through its Group Studio and Flex App, giving members access to more than 1,200 premium workouts, wellness content, and fitness challenges. It also provides customers with reporting on who their members are, surveys on what they would like to see/experience in the gym, and allows them to use preset notifications and challenges as a marketing and engagement tool.
One of the problems Fitness On Demand is solving is that TV screens in fitness facilities currently play standard channels which means TV shows, movies, news, etc. with no audio or captions. Through its market-leading content, Fitness On Demand helps facilities transform their digital offer – resulting in improved member acquisition and retention rates.
“Digital fitness and wellness solutions used to be nice-to-have offerings for facilities,” Gustafson says. “But in a post-COVID 19 world, personalized, accessible, and comprehensive wellness programs have become a ‘must-have’ for members who expect the freedom to exercise in the gym and at home. We can help facilities provide that – and more.
“Fitness On Demand offers a comprehensive solution that does more than manage screens and content – it improves revenue and retention rates, makes fitness and wellness more accessible, and gives our customers access to advanced analytics and benchmarking data to continually improve their business and member experience.”
Andy Peat, CEO at Fitness On Demand, added: "Nick’s appointment is a key milestone for the team as we continue to expand our solutions and provide our customers with additional ways to grow their business. Nick’s strategic direction will be invaluable in not only elevating the Fitness On Demand brand, but helping other businesses thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.”
