FitnessOnDemand™ today announced partnerships with Aktiv Solutions and FitnessDesignGroup to provide a comprehensive design and implementation experience for its virtual fitness customers. The partnership will allow FitnessOnDemand to expand their range of competencies by leaning on industry experts in creating functional and engaging spaces.
“In recent years we’ve done a really good job of increasing access to our products and we have made the barrier of entry low” says Garrett Marshall, Divisional CEO of FitnessOnDemand. “However, many customers struggle with or fall short of an optimal implementation. We’re thrilled to partner with the industry leader in design and supply to provide a more comprehensive, consultative, and streamlined buying experience.”
Virtual Programing – now present in more than 1 out of 6 US based health clubs-is becoming an increasingly popular topic in build outs and renovations for operators, many who manage multiple locations. Like other forms of retail, consistency from site to site is important. The companies have joined forces to collectively address this underserved market need and have published a Studio Design & Inspiration Guide to serve as a central resource for converting such spaces into “experiences”. Found within the guide are 6 signature training zones designed to create emotional training experiences within a wide variety of use cases. More comprehensively, the Inspiration Guide directs a plethora of requirements critical to the successful design and planning of a virtual training zone.
“The experiential requirements of a club member, hotel guest, or employee when exercising within the confines of a virtual fitness zone are dynamic” says Bryan Green, Founder of FitnessDesignGroup. “The opportunity to couple compelling virtual content and engaging physical spaces is well within reach. We’re excited to help operators construct built environments capable of delivering an endless array of workout types and experiences.”
FitnessOnDemand will exhibit and answer questions at the upcoming IHRSA 2018 Convention in San Diego, California this week. Detailed design consultations are available by request for qualified facilities by contacting FitnessOnDemand.
